Creating a New Page in WordPress
WORDPRESS QUICK START
There are 2 main types of content in WordPress:
Static PAGES
and
Dynamic POSTS
PAGES contain the static content for most pages, like home, about, contact, etc. (edit pages thru the PAGE link on the left)
Inserting images or any type of files(pdf’s etc) are automatically added to the MEDIA LIBRARY, these are accessible from the left sidebar or “insert image” icon in the editor. Youtube videos are added by pasting the <iframe embed code that is available from any youtube video)
POSTS are typically used for posting articles on the BLOG. (edit posts thru the POSTS link on the left)
TESTIMONIALS are configured thru the Testimonials link on the left and are displayed dynamically using a widget.
SIDEBAR CUSTOM CONTENT (e.g. Book and CD) are managed thru CONTENT BLOCKS. Content blocks can then be positioned in any sidebar/footer thru widgets.
CONTACT US is an automated form and can be configured thru CONTACT/edit on the left sidebar.
